GLT research has focused on four main areas:

1.The identification of high-quality gemstones , and the determination of origin for gems derived

2.The identification of gemstone imitations, synthetics, and gem treatments.

3.Color analysis and description of high-grade gemstones, such as“pigeon’s blood”(The color of a high quality ruby)

4.High-grade gemstone grading, such as diamond, ruby, sapphire, etc

Our laboratory is well equipped with advanced analytical instrumentation with well trained professional gemmologists. These include refractometer, spectroscope, color filter, electronic balance, microscope and other conventional laboratory equipment ,we also equip spectrometers, lasers, and detectors such as ED-XRF, UV-Vis-NIR, FTIR, LIBS, Photoluminescence, Raman with additional intra-company located confocal Raman inclusion-microscopes to identify internal gemstone inclusions,  Our expertise is offering services for Diamond Grading and Gemstone Identification.  We are kept updating our professional knowledge and strength to ensure all our equipment is functioning in optimum level and serve customers in the best possible manner.
